ELENA'S CAFE LOVES SPECIAL OCCASIONS of all kinds, both private and corporate -- receptions, celebrations, holiday parties, family events and observances -- whatever you have in mind for your guests, indoors or outdoors, buffet or sit-down, whether for a half-dozen or a thousand.
Our event planners are experts in putting together special events that can be low-key, elegant and intimate, or an all-out gala that's lavish and celebratory. Our culinary experts will help you plan a perfect menu for the occasion (and budget), our chefs will provide creative food that will dazzle your guests, and our trained servers and bartenders will serve your guests in the manner you'd wish. And, importantly, we know and work with all the service providers ... tent rentals, dance floor, transportation, audio-visual, DJs and entertainers ... to coordinate your event and make it as easy and worry-free as it can possibly be.

SPECIAL EVENT CATERING • Special Event catering will involve specialist staffing and service on china, silver, and linen. Advance notice requirements vary depending on the complexity of your event, and costs can vary widely based on many factors including the food, service requirements and special accomodations and equipment. In general, though, expect food and drink to be about half the total cost. About another 25% is paid towards staffing your event with trained, professional uniformed servers, bartenders and food handlers. Elena's minimum staffing charge is five hours per person. Finally, the remainder will go to equipment, linens, flatware and fine china.
CANCELLATION • If you must cancel, Elena's requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for events under 100 persons; to cancel an event larger than 100 persons, at least 72 hours notice is necessary. In the event of any cancellation, clients may be held responsible for charges and deposits that cannot be recovered by Elena's Cafe.
DEPOSIT / PAYMENT • A deposit of 50% at the time of booking is required for catering special events, without exception. The balance will be due on the day of the event by cash, company check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
DELIVERY / SETUP • When you book, ask Elena's about possible delivery charges and set-up fees for your special event.
